Patterns

We have 3 patterns on our Get Involved page for girls’ dresses.
These are either printable on A4 paper or consist of measurements and instructions.
If you don’t have a printer you can go to your local library, printshop or Warehouse Stationery.

Good Deeds dress pattern

The Good Deeds dress prints on the usual A4 paper and then you tape it together and trace the size you want to use. The instructions are easy to follow for assembling the pattern, and for making the dress. Be sure to read them through.

Sewing tips and tricks

We also have my extra tips for making the dress on our website. There are a number of free patterns for children’s dresses and shorts on sites like Pinterest. We make sizes 1 to 14. You can use any little girls dress pattern as long as it covers them nicely. Often you can find patterns in op-shops and the like – just check all the pieces are in the envelope!
We have some Good Deeds patterns available at our Meet-ups if you’d like to come and join us there. Meet-ups are on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month at St David’s Church, High St, Carterton.
