March round-up

Little Bundles

We had a special guest at our Meet-Up on the 22nd March. Kay from Little Bundles Wairarapa came along to pick up the needlecord dresses we had made for local 3 and 5 year olds.
It was lovely meeting Kay to handover our dresses and we look forward to working with Little Bundles again.

Meet-ups now twice monthly

We also decided in true co-op fashion that we will meet twice a month from now on. A second chance to catch up with the group. We will be at the St David’s Church in Carterton on the second and fourth Friday of the month from now on.
We also decided that we will each put $10 a month into the ‘kitty’ to go towards paying the hall hire.

Turning ‘scraps’ into beautiful dresses

On 12th April, we are having a ‘scrappy dress’ making session. We will be using up the heaps of little pieces I have so much of, (left over bits from the 100’s of dresses we’ve made over the last year), to make ‘mix and match’ 1 year old dresses.
