It’s halfway through January already and it’s steaming hot here in South Wairarapa. Perfect for staying inside, in the cool, and sewing.
We have been busy sewing since our last handover of 200 dresses and 10 shorts to Timorese Ambassador Felicidade de Sousa Guterres at the end of October 2023.
At close of business at the end of November we had 50 new dresses and half a dozen shorts made, I can’t wait to see how many dresses and shorts the team have made since then. I know I’ve made 10 – and I love them all!
Talking about the team, we have our next Meet-up next week on Friday 26th from 10-2pm, St David’s Church, Carterton. Any local Wairarapa folk who want to join us and sew and chat are welcome. We won’t bite…. Bring your sewing machine and your lunch, everything else is supplied.
Here’s a photo of my favourite size 1 dress I just finished!
