Monthly get-together

Exciting news – our ‘monthly get together’ group is a reality!

Where: St David’s Church, cnr High St and Victoria St, Carterton
When: Friday 26th May, and every 4th Friday from then on
Time: 10am to 2pm

So pleased, after my month off, to come back with such good news. We have what they call the Youth Wing at St David’s to use. A nice light, bright room adjacent to the kitchen for cuppas, I think this will serve us well until we (hopefully) outgrow it.

My aim, but this will be discussed on the 26th, is to have an autonomous group of individuals who collectively and democratically operate to better serve communities in need. A co-op where everyone works together and makes decisions about projects together.

So, bring your ideas to the group on the 26th and let’s create something special.
